You never know what the big spoilers will be on Once Upon a Time. Tonight’s episode title The New Neverland suggested the big secret was how many Neverland characters would return to Storybrooke with the Jolly Roger gang and rescued Henry. But that wasn’t the big secret was it? Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) stowing aboard in Henry’s body is the twist that will drive tonight’s narrative. So here are photos of a big welcome home scene walkthough at the Jolly Roger floating barge set in Steveston. Above are Felix (Parker Croft) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue). And below Felix (Parker Croft), Wendy (Freya Tingley), Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) on the floating barge set. Regina ( Lana Parrilla ) and Wendy (Freya [...]
Once Upon a Time filmed at the Fort Langley Community Hall as the Storybrooke Town Hall yesterday for the first time in season three. Fans spotted an almost full cast either in exterior scenes or coming and going from interior scenes in the daylight. The night shoot was much smaller with only a #SwanQueen scene of Henry’s two mothers Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) talking in her yellow VW bug. Several visiting #EvilRegals fans watched from the sidewalk closest to the shoot but I left before the wrap so don’t know if Lana Parrilla had a chance to meet them on such a bitterly cold night. A backup yellow VW bug sat parked around the corner on Glover Road. Jennifer Morrison wraps herself in a warm [...]
SHOOT: ONCE UPON A TIME Films Jennifer Morrison & Christopher Gorham in Yaletown as New York City – Updated
If you don’t want to be spoiled for Once Upon a Time’s spring premiere New York City Serenade, please stop reading now. When I saw Christopher Gorham hug Jennifer Morrison on the Yaletown set outside Brix restaurant last Thursday night (November 21st), it tempted me to tweet a new shipper name like #Swangie or #AugSwan in honour of Morrison’s Emma Swan character embracing Gorham’s Auggie character from Covert Affairs. [Update: But then I realized this is not a romantic relationship. Christopher Gorham is cast as an "important character in the life of Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison).” Who does he resemble? That's the big clue. TVLine guessed Gorham is ...... .Once Upon a Time crew let me watch and take a few unobstructed photos on the [...]
Once Upon a Time’s spring premiere next year is entitled New York City Serenade. Showrunner Adam Horowitz shared the title spoiler in mid-November and we’ve seen several location shoots for episode 3×12 in downtown Vancouver dressed as New York City — from Gastown’s Koret Lofts to Stanley Park dressed as Central Park to the Vancouver Club as NYPD 35th Precinct to Yaletown’s Brix restaurant and wine bar as a NYC restaurant Ostria. And even more of us have seen prop NYC cabs either parked or circling city blocks from downtown to Yaletown. I first saw filming for New York City Serenade in Stanley Park but withheld the photos of Hook’s arrest by New York police as spoilers. They still are and I would have kept [...]
SHOOT: ONCE UPON A TIME’s Jennifer Morrison & Colin O’Donoghue in Stanley Park as NYC’s Central Park
Who needs a Leaf Lady to scatter bags of dried leaves on a beautiful fall day in Stanley Park ? Once Upon a Time filmed a #SwanCaptain/#CaptainSwan — Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) and Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) — scene among autumn leaves south of Lumberman’s Arch today dressed as New York City’s Central Park. Someone spotted the modern fairy tale production in the morning but I missed most of the shoot, arriving in the afternoon as cast wrapped. Shortly after, crew packed up and left the park. On Tuesday, Once Upon a Time shot scenes at Strathcona School and in Gastown’s Koret Lofts, part of a recent shift out of studio and back into more on-location filming in and around Vancouver. Update: Does #SwanCaptain/#CaptainSwan have the [...]
SHOOT: ONCE UPON A TIME Kiss in Steveston – Newly Engaged & Expectant Parents Ginnifer Goodwin & Josh Dallas
Once Upon a Time is back on Moncton Street in Steveston as the Jolly Roger Gang return from Neverland to Storybrooke. And everyone seemed happy to be there yesterday. Newly-engaged couple [and expectant parents] Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (The Charmings) shared a quick kiss on set to Jennifer Morrison’s delight before the cameras rolled on their scene. That’s Robert Carlyle and Emilie de Ravin (RumBelle) in the background. The secret that the main cast has returned was well and truly out once the always fan-friendly RumBelle met with fans for photos after the scene wrapped. So we can look forward to more Once Upon a Time sightings on Moncton Street for a while, unless showrunners decide to send cast [...]
Once Upon a Time filmed in Steveston today. Everything about this shoot is a spoiler but this photo ranks as a mild one since the Charming cast — newly engaged Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas with Jared Gilmore and Jennifer Morrison — are themselves not their characters in this moment.
Last night’s promo introduced fans to the Once Upon a Time version of beloved red-haired mermaid Ariel played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher. Here she is in costume in Steveston’s Garry Point Park for a scene with Emilie de Ravin’s Belle, filmed in late summer (mid-September) here. This is a flashback to an early time in Storybrooke’s history. Regina (Lana Parrilla), Archie/Jiminy Cricket (Raphael Sbarge) and a tiny guest star are on set in Regina’s house in New Westminster. Here’s Sbarge coming out to greet the fans this afternoon. Update: Lana Parrilla met with fans when she was leaving set after nightfall. Once Upon a Time airs on Sundays on ABC in the U.S. and CTV in Canada.
In tonight’s flashback, we learn that Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) takes back his son Baelfire (Dylan Schmid) from Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) who has lured him away from home in the Enchanted Forest. Unlike most of this season’s Neverland scenes, Once Upon a Time filmed this earlier encounter with Pan in the abandoned rock quarry at North Vancouver’s Greenwood Park, not on its vast sets in studio. Crew let me walk a short way into the park after dark to photograph the lights in the trees. You could hear the whoops of the “Lost Boys” echoing around the neighbourhood.
